Founders
Necati Akpinar Born in 1962, Necati Akpinar has been the production
manager at Levent Kirca Theatre (1979-1991) and Yasemin Yalçin Theatre (1991-1993)
and staged various shows at both companies prior setting up BKM together with Yilmaz
Erdogan in 1994. Currently, other than managing the TV and cinema productions, Akpinar
also acts as the director of BKM Oyunculari and BKM Organisation.
Yilmaz Erdogan Born in Hakkari in 1968, Yilmaz Erdogan gave up studying at ITU Faculty of Civil Engineering, in favor of a acting jod at Nöbetçi Theatre founded by Ferhan Sensoy. A year later he established Güldüsündürücü Theatre and staged his own play "Kanuni Sultan Süleyman and Rambo". In the following years, he wrote the scripts for the play "Geregi Düsünüldü" and TV series "Olacak O Kadar" at Levent Kirca Theatre and for the play "Kadinlik Bizde Kalsin" at Yasemin Yalçin Theatre. In 1994, together with Necati Akpinar, Erdogan founded BKM Oyunculari and was again in charge of the script material for "Otogargara", "Cebimde Kelimeler", "Sen Hiç Atesböcegi Gördün mü?". "Bana Bir Seyhler Oluyor" and “Haybeden Gerçeküstü Ask” plays as well as writing the scenario for the "Bir Demet Tiyatro" TV series. Yilmaz Erdogan has published a story book called "Hüzünbaz Sevismeler", and two books of poem called “Kayip Kentin Yakisiklisi" and "Anladim". He has also gathered the dialogs (which were the basics for the “Haybeden Gerçeküstü Ask” play) under the name of "Haybeden Gerçeküstü Konusmalar", "Hijyenik Asklar" essays and the fantasies of the Feristah character (of the “Bir Demet Tiyatro” TV series) under the name of “Feristahin Fentezileri” to be published as books. In 2000, he wrote the original scenario for the movie “Vizontele” and played one of the leading roles. Three years later, for the sequel of his blockbuster movie (Vizontele Tuuba) he was also in charge of the camera. |
