The film is set in 1982 in southeastern Turkey. It follows the story of the villagers who are trying to adapt to the conditions of the military rule as well as the story of musicians in a group who are trying to stand on their own feet. The main characters of the story are Gülendam who is studying for the university entrance exam and her musician father Abuzer.
